Probationer Caseload Supervision
As part of our Community Based Services, we offer our Probationer Caseload
Supervision services. In these programs, Sentinel compliance officers are
responsible to ensure that the probationer population abides by the terms and
conditions of their sentence. Using local field offices, our compliance officers
meet regularly with the probationers and verify compliance. Our
personnel work closely with the courts in order to monitor the
population as required. As part of the program, our staff's duties include:
-
Referral
of probationer to local treatment or counseling programs
-
Verification of program and court attendance
-
Collection of monthly fees or fines
-
Supervision and verification of overall probationary compliance
-
Notification to the court of any violations or program infractions
Banked
Caseload Supervision
We also offer services to handle banked caseloads where probationers
are only required to maintain minimal contact with the Agency. Our
Centurion kiosks modernize these traditional mail-in probationer
check-in programs by providing immediate notification to the agency
on all check-in activity. Instead of mailing in monthly updates, the
probationers can report to a kiosk and conduct their monthly
check-in in less than five minutes. Using our SenTrak offender
monitoring database system, the kiosk can monitor check-ins to
ensure that all probationers report as required. Agency personnel
can access SenTrak at any time to review check-in activity and
update probationer information as needed. As an added benefit, the
Agency can receive probationer summary reports that provide helpful
information on the probationer population, including changes to
personal information, payment updates, and any other details
required by the Agency. These reports are available at any time for
agency review as all information in SenTrak is processed in
real-time.
The Centurion kiosks are easy to install and simple to maintain with
minimal logistical requirements. Similar to all Sentinel services,
the cost for the kiosks can be Agency administered or Community
Based, where all fees are paid by the probationers themselves.
