PassTrak (Level 1 GPS)
|
PassTrak is Sentinel's Level 1, Passive GPS
supervision. In PassTrak, the TrakMate GPS tracking unit will pull
and store location information at programmable time intervals while
the unit is away from the residence. Upon docking at the residence,
the TrakMate downloads all stored points via landline to the SenTrak
offender monitoring database. Upon download, the officers are able
to access the information. As this passive level provides only
historical tracking information, the data is not provided in real
time, however, any change in the transmitter status such as a tamper
or low battery alert, is reported immediately!
The activity reports provide the officer with the offender's
"breadcrumb" travel data clearly illustrating the movements of the
offender while away from the residence. The information can be
accessed from any Internet enabled device including computers,
laptops, or the CommandTrak Officer Control Units that we provide as
part of the program.
Unique PassTrak Features Include:
- "Transmonitor" feature allows continuous
monitoring of the transmitter status including the battery and
strap status
- Ability to adjust tracking service to Levels 2
or 3
- Detailed historical tracking information
- Traditional Radio Frequency monitoring ensures
that the offender does not leave the residence when the GPS unit
is docked
This passive level of GPS allows for more control
than traditional Radio Frequency electronic monitoring without
providing excessive notification information to the officer.
