AlertTrak (Level 3 GPS)
|
AlertTrak is Sentinel’s active level of GPS
supervision. It provides real time offender tracking that sends
position information on the offender’s movements. In AlertTrak,
offenders are actively tracked 24 hours a day, 7-days per week, 365
days per year. All alarms are automatically forwarded to the
officer’s CommandTrak unit for immediate response allowing for
24-hour coverage and immediate notification to corrections
personnel. The information can also be accessed from the SenTrak
offender monitoring database at any time.
AlertTrak allows setting geo-zones that restrict or contain the
offender to certain geographical areas or regions. SenTrak will
notify the officers of violations of restricted areas that the
offender is not allowed to be near or to notify on the offender’s
exit from within a certain area. These are commonly referred to as
inclusion or exclusion areas, as the offender is either not allowed
to leave or not allowed to enter the restricted area.
Unique AlertTrak Features Include:
- All features provided in Level One and Two
- ZoneAlert: A breach of a geo-fence is
immediately transmitted to the CommandTrak module for officer
response; multiple geo-fences are allowed and may be modified at
any time.
- Multiple Zone Settings: Allows zones to be set
via the GPS unit itself or via our SenTrak database
